Warranty Policy
POS Global Concepts (POSGC) offers a One Year Warranty on every item it sells, including refurbished equipment.
- POSGC warranties products against defects in materials for a period of 12 months after the date of purchase.
- During this period, POSGC will repair or replace a defective unit and power supply without charge to the customer.
- The customer must send the defective product or part to POSGC.
- POSGC will pay for shipping of any units within the first 30 days.
- The customer will pay for all transportation and insurance charges for sending the unit to be repaired after 30 days.
- POSGC will pay for shipping back to the customer.
- POSGC's total liability is limited to the original product cost.
- POSGC is not responsible for loss due to damage caused by an electrical surge.
- POSGC is not responsible for loss if the unit is damaged by willful misconduct, abuse, neglect, improper use, dropping, or submersion in water.
- Terminal re-encryptions, UPP Loads, and Datacap are not included in the warranty. The cost to reprogram the device is the responsibility of the buyer.
- Warrantied devices will be returned via UPS Ground.
Extended Warranties
POSGC offers the following Extended Warranties on most of the terminals we sell:
- 2-Year Repair Warranty
- 3-Year Repair Warranty
- 2-Year Advance Replacement Warranty
- 3-Year Advance Replacement Warranty
Repair Warranty extends our standard 1-Year Warranty to two or three years from the original date of purchase. During the extended repair warranty period, POSGC will repair or replace a defective product or part without charge to the customer. The customer will pay for all transportation and insurance charges for sending the unit to be repaired after 90 days. POSGC’s total liability is limited to the original product cost. Terminal re-programming, re-encryptions, UPP Loads, and DataCap Loads are not included in the Repair Warranty
Advance Replacement Warranty is administered by POSGC for two or three years from the original date of purchase. During the term of the Advance Replacement Warranty, POSGC will cover workmanship and manufacturer defects for hardware failures. Upon receipt and approval of an RMA request, POSGC will ship a fully configured replacement unit via Overnight Delivery with a return label to return the defective unit to us. Terminal re-programming, re-encryptions, UPP Loads, and DataCap Loads ARE included in the Advance Replacement Warranty. We ship the replacement unit to you BEFORE you send us the defective unit. Accessories such as cables, power supplies, stylus pens, privacy shields, or other add-ons are not included in this warranty.
